“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”

Support Our Mission
To support and provide women with an opportunity to recover from Gender Based Violence. This is done through the provision of an environment of physical and emotional wellness and self-sufficiency skills training. Zayane Creations targets vulnerable women aged 16 to 40 years in Lilongwe peri-urban and rural areas in their communities. This is done through offering the women a platform for self-discovery and developing confidence, while forming strong cooperatives and positive relationships for sustainable moral support and income generation.
Vulnerable women living in safe communities with healed hearts and transformed minds, empowered with sustainable economic, emotional, physical and social wellness.
Zayane Creations Co-founder and Director, Eunice Chimphoyo Banda, personally experienced Gender Based Violence when she was a girl. At age 15, she was raped, consequently made pregnant and dropped out of school. She experienced blame, isolation, shame, rejection, poverty and hopelessness. Later however she was given an opportunity to go back to school, be educated and learned various skills. Her story inspired her and with the support of her husband Sam, to advocate for vulnerable women and give them similar opportunities. Eunice sees herself as standing up for women across Malawi who deserve community support. The couple believes that every woman deserves the chance to understand her rights and exercise them with the support of her community. Zayane Creations is how they have established both a safe and productive space for women in recovery, offering them access to their rights to live in peace, be happy and productive citizens.
